Who Can Apply?

The applicant must be a resident.

Documents Required

1. İstanbul, İzmir, Antalya

Visa Application Form:

• Must be filled out carefully without leaving blank spaces.

• Requires personal signature on the last page. For applicants under 18, both parents must fill and sign.

• Form must be downloaded from the BLS website; other versions will not be accepted.

Photographs:

• Two biometric photos (3.5x4.5 cm) with a white background, taken within the last 3 months.

• Must meet specific requirements (free space over the head, face clear of hair or hijab, etc.).

Passport Requirements:

• Valid for at least 3 months beyond the return date.

• Must have 2 blank pages and not be older than 10 years.

Flight and Accommodation:

• Booking of flight tickets with correct passenger names and PNR number.

• Hotel booking must cover all travel dates, showing names, address, and matching flight reservations.

Travel Medical Insurance:

• Minimum coverage of €30,000, valid for the Schengen area, with a company letterhead.

Supporting Documents:

• Employment letters, financial statements, tax documents, bank statements (3 months), and other relevant documents (e.g., marriage certificate, parental consent for minors).

Special Notes:

• Applicants must ensure they understand and comply with the specific requirements for minors, students, and unemployed individuals, including sponsorship documentation.

• For family visits, an invitation letter must be original.

2. Ankara, Gaziantep

Visa Application Form:

• Should be completed accurately and entirely.

Passport Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months' validity from the departure date and at least 2 blank pages.

Photographs:

• Two biometric photos (35x45 mm) taken in the last 6 months without glasses or accessories.

Travel Documents:

• Round-trip flight, bus, or train reservation is necessary.

• Hotel reservation must cover the entire stay without gaps.

Health Insurance:

• Must cover a minimum of €30,000 in the Schengen area, with valid documentation for 7 days coverage for trips shorter than this.

Employer Documentation (for employees and business owners):

• Signature circular, tax registration, business licenses, salary receipts, and long-term SGK service documents are mandatory.

Sponsorship:

• If applicable, submit a sponsorship letter along with required documents from the sponsor.

Family and Travel Requirements:

• For minors traveling without both parents, a notarized consent letter is required.

• Original invitation letter required for family or friends visiting.

Unique Points to Note:

• Sessions must be attended 15 minutes early, incomplete applications are not accepted, and each applicant requires separate documentation.

• Digital/e-signed documents are not valid for bank statements and identity registrations.

Step-by-Step Guide to the Application Process

• Identify visa type (Choose the right visa for your trip).

• Begin your application (Get started with your visa application). Please register on the BLS visa centre website.

• Prepare Documents: Ensure all required documents are ready and properly organized. Also complete the application form.

• Book an Appointment.

• Submit Application: Submit your visa application with all the required documents at the scheduled time of your appointment.

• Track your application (Stay informed about the progress of your application).

• Collect your passport: After a decision on your visa application has been made, you can pick up your passport from the Visa Application Centre.

Processing Time

We kindly recommend you to apply at least 15 days before your travel.

Please note that applications can be submitted earliest 90 days before the foreseen departure date. Otherwise the application can not be submitted.
