Who Can Apply?

Documents Required

Standard Documents for Schengen Visa Application

  1. Original Passport:

    • Issued within the last 10 years.

    • Valid for at least 3 months from the anticipated travel end date.

    • At least 2 mutual blank visa pages.

    • Photocopies of Schengen visa pages from the last 3 years belonging to the old passport.

  2. Application Form:

    • Fully completed and legible.

    • Signature section on the last page must be signed by the passport holder.

    • Home address and email must be stated in Article 17; mobile phone must belong to the applicant.

    • Forms can be filled using blue or black pen or computer.

    • If the applicant is under 18 years old, signatures must be signed by the parents.

  3. Two Biometric Photographs:

    • Taken within the last 3 months, facing the camera directly, with visible face, ears, and forehead, against a white background.

    • Dimensions: 35 mm x 45 mm.

  4. Departure - Return Flight Reservation:

    • Reservation or receipt for the travel vehicle (bus, train, plane, vehicle, ferry, etc.) including "Airline Booking Reference Number."

    • For multiple countries, city/country transfers must be indicated in a petition.

  5. Hotel Reservation:

    • Complete travel plan without missing days, including reservations for all countries.

    • Hotel reservations must include the names of all passengers; unnamed reservations will not be accepted.

    • If visiting family or friends, include a signed invitation letter detailing the inviter’s name, address, phone number, and a photocopy of their identification document.

  6. Travel Health Insurance Policy:

    • Must be originally signed and stamped; insurance without these will not be accepted.

    • Valid in all Schengen countries, covering minimum travel dates with at least €30,000 in coverage.

  7. Original Personal Bank Statement:

    • Bank statement showing the last 3 months of account movements, obtained from the bank one week prior to application, signed and stamped.

    • If online, bank statements must be stamped and signed by bank authority.

    • Owners of companies may apply with the company's bank account if it has a high balance; ensure sufficient balance for travel.

    • Note: For a 3-day trip, a minimum of 2,000 TL or its equivalent in Euro/Dollar must be in the current bank account.

  8. Original Payroll:

    • Covering the last 3 months, signed and stamped by the authority of the firm.

  9. Certificate of Retirement:

    • Must be available on E-Devlet or confirmed by bank authorities.

    • Note: Not compulsory for non-retired individuals.

  10. Sponsorship Letter:

    • If expenses are covered by a parent or third party, a petition from the sponsor indicating they will cover all travel costs is required.

    • Include the sponsor's work and income documents and bank statements.

  11. Employer Permission Letter:

    • Printed on company letterhead, signed and stamped by the employer, indicating the employee's travel dates.

    • The letter can be in Turkish, English, or Hungarian.

  12. SGK Statement of Employment:

    • Must be current and provided with a barcode from the employer.

  13. SGK 4A Service Scheme:

    • Must be obtained from SGK directorates; service schemes without barcodes are not accepted.

  14. Company Documents:

    • Certificate of activity (issued within the last 6 months).

    • Trade registry gazette (clearly indicating the title and partners of the company).

    • Up-to-date tax certificate.

    • Circular of signature (required if authority is present, along with the power of attorney and the statement of signature).

  15. Deed of Consent:

    • Required if an underage child is traveling with one parent or a third person; must include a notarized consent deed and a photocopy of the child’s identity.

    • Deed of consent must be within the last 3 months.

  16. Certificate of Identity Register Copy:

    • Use to prove the relationship if family members are covering travel expenses.

    • If costs are covered by a spouse, a marriage certificate suffices.

  17. Student Certificate:

    • Must be current and obtained from school.

    • Note: Student cards are not valid.

  18. Copy of the Birth Certificate:

    • Must include the TR identity number.

    • Note: ID cards older than 10 years are legally invalid.

  19. Passport Photocopies:

    • Full photocopy of all processed pages in the passport, including the identification page.

    • Include photocopies of Schengen visas from the last 6 years on old passports and any current visas.

    • Photocopies of passports and visas of accompanying travelers are also required. For travelers with a green passport, a photocopy suffices.

Application Process

Only short-term (up to 90 days) Schengen visa applications can be made at our application office. You must be at our application center at the time of your appointment, together with the complete documents that you have prepared for your application for the appointment you have received. If you gave a fingerprint on or after 25.09.2014, you can make your visa application without coming through an agency or by authorizing another person. If your visa was received before 25.09.2014 and you did not give your fingerprint (if you do not have a Schengen visa that has a VIS expression on it), you absolutely have to come personally.

Application fees (visa fee – service fee) are paid only in cash and in euros. You can make additional service payments in TL and in cash (courier request, form filling, photographs, photocopies, printing, etc.). All documents must be A4 size.

You can make your application in person or through an agency; a family member or relative cannot apply instead of you.

Post-Application

Your application will be transferred to the Consulate one workday after being received by the As Visa Solutions Application Center. The information registered in our system is kept in the As Visa Solutions Visa Application Center’s database during your application. Your personal information will not be shared with any third party except the Consulate. You are deemed to have applied to the As Visa Solutions Visa Application Center with knowledge and acceptance of this policy.

Follow-Up Application

The average visa processing time is 15 days. This period can lengthen or shorten according to the workload of the consulate. You can do your passport follow-up via our call center with your name and surname. Applicants cannot have information via the call center about their passport details, personal information, and the result of their visa.

Passport Delivery Process

You or a friend/relative whom you authorized by writing a petition under your identity photocopy with the recipient’s name and surname details can take your passport from our application center with the orange payment receipt and identity card. If you take your passport personally, you need to keep your orange payment receipt and your identity card with you. If you request a courier during application, your passport will be delivered to you via UPS courier company to the address you wish.

Processing Time
